Terms of service
These terms apply between Innovative Learning Solutions Ltd, trading as 24 Hosting (CRO 460035, Platform94, Mervue Business Park, Galway H91 D932) - "we" - and the caterer using Lunch Order - "you". Lunch Order is a service for businesses.
1. The service
An online ordering site for your schools (name.hotlunch.ie and name.lunchorder.ie), a back office for your kitchen, reports and labels. We may improve and change features; we won't remove core features (menus, ordering, reports) without 60 days' notice.
2. Trial, plans and payment
- The first 30 days are free. If you don't continue, your site is closed and its data deleted after 30 days.
- Plans are priced monthly in advance, excluding VAT, by the number of active schools or pupils - whichever needs the bigger plan (see pricing and the fair use policy).
- If you grow past your plan we tell you first; the next plan applies from the following month.
- Invoices are due within 14 days. After a reminder and 14 more days we may suspend the site until paid; your data is kept.
- You can cancel at the end of any month.
3. Your responsibilities
- Menus, dish descriptions and allergen information are yours and must be correct (EU Regulation 1169/2011). Lunch Order shows and prints what you enter; it doesn't check recipes.
- Food safety, cooking, labelling and delivery remain your responsibility.
- Keep log-ins private, give access only to people who need it, and use two-step log-in.
- Only upload class lists that schools agreed to share, and only names and classes.
4. Personal data
For parents', children's and staff information you are the controller and we are your processor. The data processing terms (GDPR Article 28) form part of this agreement: we only process on your instructions, keep it in the EU, keep it confidential and secure, help you answer people's requests, tell you about a breach without delay, and delete or return it when the agreement ends. Our sub-processor is our hosting provider in the EU (Hetzner, Germany/Finland).
5. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available around the clock and do maintenance outside school lunch ordering peaks where possible. Support: helpdesk@24.ie, 091 395 333, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. We back up daily.
6. Ending
When the agreement ends you can export your data for 30 days; then it is deleted (backups roll over within 3 months).
7. Liability
Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in those 12 months, and we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost profits.
8. Changes and law
We'll give 30 days' notice of changes to these terms. Irish law applies and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
